DMCA Notice & Takedown Policy

Although Jelly Games Ltd. is incorporated in the United Kingdom, we respect the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) and equivalent UK/EU laws. This page explains how copyright owners can report alleged infringement on jelygames.com and how users can submit a counter-notification.

2. How to File a DMCA Notice

If you believe content on our Service infringes your copyright, send a written notice that includes all of the following:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed (e.g., URL to an authorized copy or a clear title).
  2. Location of the infringing material on jelygames.com (full URL or game/asset name).
  3. Your contact information – full legal name, mailing address, telephone, and email.
  4. A statement of good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by you, your agent, or the law.
  5. A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full legal name is acceptable for email submissions).

Incomplete notices may be rejected. We will confirm receipt by email and typically act within 48 business-hours.

3. Removal Process

  • The identified content is disabled or removed.
  • The uploader receives a copy of your notice (with your contact details) so they may respond.
  • We keep a record of DMCA communications for legal and compliance purposes.

4. Counter-Notification Procedure

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, email our Agent a counter-notice containing:

  1. Your full name, address, phone, and email.
  2. A description and URL of the material that was removed.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales (or, if you reside in the USA, the federal district court for your address) and that you will accept service of process from the copyright claimant.
  5. Your physical or electronic signature.

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the content within 10-14 days, unless the original claimant files court action to keep it down.

5. Repeat-Infringer Policy

Users who receive two (2) valid copyright strikes will have their accounts suspended; a third (3) strike results in permanent termination and IP blocks. Appeals are considered case-by-case.

6. Misrepresentation

Knowingly submitting false claims or counter-claims is grounds for account termination and may expose you to civil damages and legal fees under DMCA §512(f) or applicable UK law.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this DMCA page to reflect changes in law or our practices. Material revisions will be posted here and, for registered users, announced via email 30 days before they take effect.
